Asset Stress Index (ASI):

The ASI (Asset Stress Index) is our proprietary technical indicator designed to offer a more precise and insightful measure of market conditions compared to traditional indicators like the RSI. Ranging from 150 to -150, the ASI provides a nuanced view of both trend strength and potential reversal points, helping traders identify key turning moments in the market.

Here’s how the ASI works:

  • Above 100: The asset is considered overbought, signaling a potential reversal or pullback might be on the horizon. While the price may still rise, this high score suggests that upward momentum could be losing steam.
  • Below -100: The asset is considered oversold, indicating that selling pressure may have peaked and a reversal or bounce could be imminent. This is often a signal for buyers to consider entering the market.
  • Above 0: The trend is positive, meaning the asset is in an upward trajectory with buying momentum behind it.
  • Below 0: The trend is negative, indicating the asset is experiencing downward momentum and could be in a declining phase.

What sets the ASI apart is its heightened sensitivity and accuracy in identifying reversal points. By providing clearer signals about when the market might be overextended in either direction, the ASI helps traders avoid false breakouts and catch trend shifts earlier. This makes it a powerful tool for both trend-following and contrarian strategies, providing an edge over more simplistic technical indicators.

In essence, the ASI offers a comprehensive view of market strength and reversal potential, helping traders make more informed decisions based on solid technical insights.

Technical Score (TA Score):

The Technical Analysis (TA) Score is a percentage-based metric designed to quantify the attractiveness of current market conditions for long or short entries, exclusively through the lens of price action and momentum indicators. This score helps traders and investors assess the timing of potential market entry points by measuring the strength of price trends and the momentum behind them.

A TA Score above 75% signals a strong technical setup for long positions, indicating favorable conditions such as positive price momentum, sustained upward trends, or key support levels holding firm. In this scenario, the asset exhibits robust technical strength, suggesting a higher probability of continued bullish performance.

Conversely, a TA Score below 15% suggests an optimal structure for shorting opportunities, as it reflects weakening price momentum, the breakdown of key support levels, or the emergence of downward pressure. This technical weakness indicates a heightened risk of further downside movement, making it an attractive setup for bearish positions.

By focusing solely on price dynamics and momentum indicators, the TA Score provides a clear, data-driven assessment of the timing for trade execution, enabling investors to optimize their entry strategies based on current market conditions.
